Love and Care

    If we don't have love and care in our life, what would we be? I think it is terrible to live without love and care. if I do not have love and care from my family and friends, I think that I will get crazy and feel lonely. Nowadays, there are many people was lack for love and care, and they will think it is no meaningful to live in the world. How can we prevent this thing from happening? There are two ways for us to do.

  

    In these days, I watch news and know that there are many tragedies happened. For instance, a teenager killed four people in the Mass Rapid Transit, and over twenty people got hurt. When I saw the news, I was so shocked, sad and unbelievable. The news pointed out that it was because his parents did not give enough love and care form him. Not only teenager's family but also the people who died or got hurt all felt sad and sorrowful. From that, we knew that showing love and care to the people is very important.

    First, we can talk to them frequently. They will feel that they are cared. Secondly, taking them out to play instead of play the computer games at home is good for their mood. Playing basketball, volleyball, baseball and so on is a good way to them, because these sports need many people to play with, they will have more opportunities to interact with different people and can be more extroverted. However, if they stay at home and play the games all the time, they will become unsociable. In addition, almost the games are violent and the games will cause them be more violent too. We should stay away from the computer games and spend much time on interacting with other people, and we can be easily social and confident. 

    Showing our love and care is not difficult to do. We should always be passionate and accompany with them. We must let them know that we love and care about them, so that they will not feel lonely and have negative thoughts. Showing love and care to people will prevent a tragedy from happening.

  

Death

    This afternoon, I asked my friend that are you afraid of dying. She said calmly that she was not fearful of dying, but she only worried about her mother. She said that if she die, her mother would be very sad. After hearing that, I asked myself. Was I afraid of dying?

    People tend to avoid saying the death during the conversation. They may think that the death is unfortunate and unlucky, and they also think that saying the death will make the atmosphere bad. However, if we do not mention that, it will not happen? I think the answer is not. Life has a routine that is from the birth, the young , the adult and the elder to the death. The routine is that everyone must have.
    When we become older, we will more afraid of the death. I am also afraid of  the death. I think I do not have the courage to confront the death, and i do not make a full preparation to face it. When I imagine that I die, I would fear that I can't see my favorite family, friends, and the beautiful world anymore. In addition, I maybe have some dreams that do not come true. It was terrible. Therefore, I must cherish what I have now, and I should do my best to make my dreams come true. Most Importantly, I must have a happy and successful life, and I don't want to have regrets for my life when I die.
 

Bridge to Terabithia

    In the Young Adult Novels and Films course, I read a novel named Bridge to Terabithia. In this novel, there was a boy, Jess, and his personalities were not confident and timid. In addition, Jess liked to draw, but his father thought that drawing was not good. Jess liked to run and he wanted to be the fastest kid in the fifth grade. However, during the game, he was defeated by Leslie who was a girl and transferred from other school. Because of this, Jess disliked Leslie. Jess liked music class, because he had crush on the teacher, Miss Edmunds. Miss Edmund was the only one to admire Jess's drawings.                                                   

    After few days, Jess thought that Leslie was a confident girl and she also admired Jess's painting is cool. Gradually, they became friends. One day, they swung through over the creek and found a place. They called the place was Terabithia.  After school. they would went to the Terabithia to construct a refuge. In the Terabithia, Jess and Leslie ruled as a king and a queen. Moreover, they would image creatures to attack the kingdom, and they would defeat them.

    One day, Jess was invited to art museum by Miss Edmunds. At first, Jess was thinking whether he asked Leslie to go with them together. Later, he thought it was the first time to have a date only he and Miss Edmunds. When Jess came back, his family told that Leslie was dead by drowning when she swung through over the creek and the rope was split. When Jess heard that, he shouted with angry at his family that they were kidding. When he ran through Leslie's house, he saw many office cars. He knew that Leslie's death was real. At first, he cried and then he receipt that. He told to himself that Terabithia was a dream between Leslie and him, so he went to the Terabithia and rebuilt to kingdom. 

    In this novel, I know that family background can deeply influence our personality deeply. Leslie personalities are bold and likes to try new things. In the Leslie's family, she is the only kid, so her parents gives all their love to her. In addition, her parents give her freedom to let her do what she wants to do. However, Jess's personalities are totally different to Leslie's. Jess has two elder sisters and two younger sisters. His parents do not show enough love to him, and they will scold Jess if he make the mistakes. Because of this, Jess is more sensitive and not confidence. 

New Semester

    New semester is coming. Last Sunday, my father took my brother to Taoyuan, because the new semester would start. In this semester, I select a course named Young Adult Novels and Films. In this course, the teacher let us read the four novels and watch the movies have been adapted from the novels. Reading the novels can help me improve some writing skills. I hope this semester I have progress in writing.

Go Traveling ~~

    Last Sunday, my father took us to Kending for vacation. At first, I was afraid that the weather in Kending would be bad because of the front. Surprisingly, when we arrived in Kending, the weather was so good. It just liked summer. I thought it was a good start.

    First, we went to Sheding Nature Scenic to go on picnic. We brought some fruits, KFC, and buying some famous Chinese steamed buns. In Sheding Nature Scenic, there was a big grassland. We chose one place to eat lunch. Luckily, we saw a lot of people, and they were shooting a comerical of camera. This was the first time that I saw that, and I felt so cool. Later, we went to Guanshan to watch the sunset. Guanshan's sunset is one of the top ten must see the sunset in the world. You can see the sun go down below the sea level. the image is so beautiful. That day's weather was good, so we could see the sunset. Therefore, there were so many people stood in pavilion to wait the sunset. After seeing the sunset, we went to the Houbihu to eat lunch. In the Houbihu, there were so many seafood restaurant, and the seafood was all fresh.  

    We went to hotel to take a rest. About 10 p.m, we went to kending Road which was like a night market to buy something as midnight snacks. On the other, when I waked up, I found the weather was not good and cloudy. Even though the weather is cloudy, we still went to the beach to play. Then, we drove to Eluanbi Park. Unluckily, when we went into the park, it was raining. There were still many tourists. We walked the path to see the Eluanbi lighthouse. When I walked to the top, I could see the sea and the mountain together.

    These two days, I was very happy. We planned to come to Kending again in the March with my uncle and aunt. 

Chinese New Year

    Last Thursday is Chinese New Year's Eve. My uncle took his family came home to have a reunion and ate New Year's Eve dinner. This day was very busy, because we needed to do many things, including helping father paste the Spring Festival couplets, having a general cleaning, and helping mother prepare dinner. After eating the dinner, the children must look forward to receiving the red envelops. When the adults gave us the red envelops, we should say something propitious to them. On New Year's day, many relatives will come to our home to celebrate Chinese New Year. In these days, we always have a lot of visitors. On the second day of the Lunar New year, my mother will return home. 

    Chinese New Year is to let family have a reunion. In addition, Chinese New Year is a time to play some games with the family. First, my father bought five $100 scratch-off lottery ticket, and each one have one. When I scratched the ticket, I was so nervous but excited, because I didn't know how much I would got. Unluckily, I didn't get any money from the ticket, but my father got $700. Second, I played Mahjong with my father and two younger brothers. I think that Mahjong needs skills so that I can't not lose the game easily. Third, I paly four color cards with brothers, uncles and aunts. Mahjong and four color cards like the gambles. If you win, you get the money; if you lose, you will give your money to the winner. Because of that, you will think the game is more exciting and  more interesting. If you have time, you can try it.

Have Fun In Taichung

    Yesterday, Daddy took us to Taichung. First, we went to Chung She to have a sightseeing. I wanted to say that there was so beautiful that I thought I was in a virtual world.  When I walked into the there, I saw many different colors flowers in front of me. There are many parts, and each part has its subject. The flowers are all colorful, including tulips, lavender and so on. In the part of the lavender, there is a piano for people to take beautiful pictures. Besides, there are a big pond and there is lots of fish. Sadly, we couldn't see the lotus because it is not on the right season. However, we still saw many beautiful flowers. If you are lucky, you can see the couple are taking wedding photos. 

    After that, we went to the Top City which is a department store to eat lunch. The restaurant was so famous that there are always many people. We didn't make a reservation, so we go to the service desk. The attendant gave us the number, and she said that she would call the number. When I saw the number, I just couldn't say anything because the number is 107. I thought that how long we would wait in my mind. Luckily, we just waited about twenty minutes or so. The restaurant like a paradise, because it is a cafeteria and there are so many delicacies for us to choose.  I ate many dishes and I was full. I want to thank my father for taking us to see a sea of flowers and eat a great feast. 

Tennis!!

    I like to watch tennis games on TV. In addition, the Australian Open starts from January 13th to January 26th. In these day, I always watch tennis games on TV with my father and my younger brothers. I think that watching tennis games will bring me lots of excitement, especially when the player who you support win.

    Novak Djokovic is my favorite tennis player. he was the first and only to win three consecutive Australian Open titles in the Open Era. He was an excellent tennis player and he won many games. Most important of all, I learn one thing from him : never give up. 

    In fact, I am so sad today. It is because Novak Djokovic loses the game. Nevertheless, I still admire his attitude. He is positive and he never gives up even though he is in difficult situation. He would try his best to play each game. In addition, he is a gentleman. When he lose a point, he still applaud his opponent for his good skills. I think Novak Djokovic has a good sportsmanship for us to learn.  

RUNNING MAN !!!

    This summer vacation, I watched the " RUNNING MAN " on the Internet. Because of this, it brought me the happiness throughout the whole summer vacation. Today, I want to share the " RUNNING MAN " with you. 

    

    You may guess what is Running Man? Running Man is a South Korean variety show, which is a new kind of variety shows based on urban environment. There are seven emcees in the show and each emcee all has different personalities. During the show, if one of emcees does not appear, the show would be less interesting. Therefore, every emcee is very important in the show. The emcees and the guests take part in a series of missions to win the game at the end of race. Each time, the missions are all different that can always catch the audience's attention. When they do the missions, they always have some troubles and funny things happened. When watching the show, you can see how they complete the missions by teamwork and how they fail to complete the missions by betrayal.

    I think that the emcees in Running Man just like a family, and their relationships are even closer than their family. Sometimes, they would do some water activities in the winter. Even though they know that it is cold, they still do it. From this, I can feel their efforts and bravery to complete the missions. This makes me feel touched.

    The winter vacation is coming. If you have the time, you can go on the Internet to take a look at RUNNING MAN. I think Running Man must bring you a lot of laughs.     

Happy Birthday To My Mother

    This Friday was my mother' birthday. My father took my mother to Kaohsiung to celebrate her birthday. By the way, I also went with them. When we arrived at Kaohsiung, we took the taxi to the SHIN KONG MITSUKOSHI which was a department store. There was a exhibition of Lanling Wang's costumes, and Lanling Wang was a television program. That's why we went to the department store. It was because my mother was the fan of the television program, she hoped that she could come to see the exhibition. 

    After seeing the exhibition, we walked to the hotel's restaurant to eat the lunch although it was two p.m. already. It took us about thirty to walk to the hotel named GRAND HI-LAI HOTEL. The restaurant which was a cafeteria was at forty-three floor, so we could see the Kaohsiung harbor through French windows. In addition, there was so a lot of food that you could choose what you want to eat. The restaurant's atmosphere was good and the food was delicate. Finally, I wanted to say happy birthday to my mother.

Weather

    These days' weather was not so good. It was sometimes raining and sometimes sunny. You can have a good or bad mood depending on the weather.  I think the weather just like a magician, because he changes the weather all the time, and we can not predict what the weather would be in the future. 

   The weather would influence natural ecosystem. Some animals would appear in the raining day, and some would show up in the sunny day. In addition, some natural phenomena like rainbow are affected by the weather. Because of the changes of the weather, we can enjoy different sights.

Visiting The Towel Shop - IICake

    I thought I was so lucky to have a chance to visit the towel shop. Why did I have a chance to visit it? It was because my translation course's teacher told me that we would visit the towel shop, and we should hold the chance to learn something we didn't know. The towel shop sold not only the towels but also the towels that was designed into different molds such as the cakes, the animals and so on.

    This afternoon, we went to visit the towel shop. At first, the staffs guided us to introduce the shop. There were many places that were so interesting. For example, there was a big window which we could see how the staffs make the designed towels. In addition, there was a big and long towel on the wall. The towel was so beautiful because the towel was so many colors and a painting on it.  The Painting was introduced Yunlin features such as coffee bean, watermelon, Jan Fu Sun fancy world and so on. When you saw the staffs make the towels, you may want to do it by yourself so the towel shop provide the customers for DIY. 

    Many years ago, China's towel factories exported their towels into Taiwan. China's towels were much cheaper than Taiwan's one, so many Taiwan's towel factories faced to close down. Now, the IICake emerge, Taiwan's towel factories become prosperous again.  That's why I appreciate the towel shop's promoter so much. He save many towel factories and enhance the towel's value.

Happy Birthday To My Father!!!

    Today is my father's birthday, so we decide to go to Tasty to celebrate. Tasty is a high level restaurant. I look forward to this day so long. I have ever been to Tasty one time, and I felt the service there was very good. In addition, the Tasty's atmosphere was also so nice that it was a good place to celebrate anything. If you have some plans to celebrate, I advise you to go to Tasty.

    Today is a special day to my father. I want to say "Happy Birthday" to my father. Although I don't give the gift to my father, I appreciate him that he always help me to solve any problem and face the difficulties together. In my mind, my father is so grand and I also want to say " I love you, daddy."

   

Thanksgiving day is coming !!

    Thanksgiving Day is coming. In this day, no matter how busy you are, you should go home to have a reunion. In the America, the main dish is the turkey. Eating the turkey in the Thanksgiving Day is a custom. Most important of all, reunion is a purpose of Thanksgiving Day.

    

    We should have a thankful mind, especially in the Thanksgiving Day. This time, I want to appreciate what my parents do for me. When I was a baby, they took care of me carefully. I remember that one day, I was got hurt by the bicycle, and my ankle was so hurt that I couldn't move. My grandfather sent me the the hospital immediately. When my parents heard about this, they go to the hospital as soon as possible. When I saw them, I cried loudly, because I was so afraid that I should cut my leg. My parents just hugged me tightly, and told me that all is well. I could feel that they were so worry, but they did not show on their face. Instead, they tried to let me calm down, and keep telling me that it is okay.

    I can feel my parents' love everyday. I really love them and I want to say " I love you " to them.

   

The sorrow

    The last Tuesday afternoon, after I took a nap, I found my dog was dead. At that moment, I was astonished and I did not know what I should do. I went out and called its name. However, it did not move. I cried and called my father to tell him that dog was dead. My father also astonished, and he kept asking me that is the thing real. When all my family members knew the fact, they were all sorrowful.
    The dog accompanied us for more than ten years. In other words, the dog was long-lived. We had many pleasant memories. We took a walk together, and we would go jogging sometimes. The dog did not like take a shower. When we wanted to wash its body, he just always ran away. We needed to catch it, but it ran so fast that we could not catch it easily. We needed about ten minutes or so to catch the dog, and we are tired after catching it. It was so naughty.
    Although it was no longer to accompany us, it was still in our mind. Because of the memories, we still felt that the dog was by our sides.

First time

    It is a first time that I have a blogger. It is also a first time I share my daily life with people all over the world on the Internet. Good time are for sharing with friend.

    At first, I want to show you my family members.

    This is my parents. My father is so considerate that I would tell my father about my secrets. He would give me suggestions when I have problems about my school work or argument with my brother. My mother is good at cooing. Sometimes, she would cook many delicious dishes such as potato salad, sushi and pineapple shrimp ball for my family to eat. Although these dishes can be eaten in the restaurant, my mother's are more palatable. It is because every dish my mother makes is full of my mother's love.

    This picture is my little brothers and I. Although I am older than them, I am also shorter than them. When we were children, we always played together. Our relationships is so close that we all know each other's secrets. When I see their faces, I can know that their mood is good or bad. If they have something in their mind, I always discover it immediately.

    I am glad that I have a happy family. My family like a shelter that can let me feel free from care.
